We Cook, Share Knowledge and Develop Friendships
Message from WWRC founder Sue Zelickson
Women Who Really Cook is a networking organization for women in the food business in the Twin Cities area and greater Minnesota.
Monthly meetings are held in various locations where members work to share successes, ideas, dreams, desires, products and possibilities in the food world.
Our mission is to meet others with similar interests, concerns, and joys... to take time to laugh, smile, taste, and relish each others' specialties, while sharing our wants and needs with each other.
We dish up a bit of chit chat while making meaningful, supportive, and long-lasting friendships!
WWRC at the Minnesota State Fair
What a day we had at the 2013 Minnesota State Fair!
To say it was hot is an understatement! But we still had a great time on August 27 hosting our first ever Women Who Really Cook day in the kitchen of the Creative Activities building. Over the course of the day we had three demonstrations and five panel discussions moderated by Sue Zelickson and LoAnn Mockler. Our theme was Entrepreneurs in the Kitchen and we had great WWRC members participating. Thank you to all of you who braved the heat, including our member volunteers who hung out in the kitchen with us talking with fairgoers.
