We Cook, Share Knowledge and Develop Friendships

Message from WWRC founder Sue Zelickson

Sue ZelicksonWomen Who Really Cook is a networking organization for women in the food business in the Twin Cities area and greater Minnesota.

Monthly meetings are held in various locations where members work to share successes, ideas, dreams, desires, products and possibilities in the food world.

Our mission is to meet others with similar interests, concerns, and joys... to take time to laugh, smile, taste, and relish each others' specialties, while sharing our wants and needs with each other.

We dish up a bit of chit chat while making meaningful, supportive, and long-lasting friendships!

June 2014 Meeting at Parley Lake Winery

On June 22, 15 members traveled west of the Cities to Parley Lake Winery, the first bonded winery in Carver County, Minnesota, 10 miles west of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and on the property of Deardorff Orchards & Vineyards. The meeting was hosted by WWRC member Jen Antilla, Brittany, one of the Parley Lake tasting room hosts, and Steve Zeller, Parley Lake winemaker. Parley Lake wines have won 65 medals, including 12 Gold in national competitions. Steve graciously poured two wines for our tasting pleasure, Lakeview White and Parley Vu Rose, both of which were delicious.
